Engagements and Weddings

I photograph engagements and weddings with a documentary, “fly-on-the-wall” approach. My goal is to preserve genuine emotions and authentic moments as they naturally unfold. These special memories are meant to be experienced, not interrupted by a camera. I want my clients to be fully present, enjoying every moment of their day while I quietly capture the story as it happens.

While candid storytelling is at the heart of my work, I also make space for creative and intentional framework. For couples who want a more personalized touch, I love setting aside time for private portrait sessions that allow us to create beautiful, artistic images that reflect your unique connection and personality. This balance of authentic moments and thoughtfully crafted portraits ensures your gallery feels both genuine and uniquely yours.

The Carolina Coasts

Based near North Topsail Beach, North Carolina, I proudly serve couples throughout the coastal regions of both North and South Carolina. From the windswept dunes and sandy shorelines to the marshlands, historic waterfront towns, and golden sunsets that define the Carolinas, I find endless inspiration in the natural beauty of our coastline.

While the Carolina coast is home, I am always excited to travel and document love stories in new places. For destinations outside of my regular service area, additional planning and travel fees may apply to ensure every detail is thoughtfully arranged.

Style

My creative style is rooted in timeless storytelling and the belief that photographs should feel as meaningful decades from now as they do today. Shooting on 35mm film allows me to capture memories with a softness and authenticity that feels almost dreamlike, like viewing life's most precious moments through rose-colored glasses.

Every frame is a small piece of history, preserving genuine emotions, connections, and stories that might otherwise fade with time. More than just photographs, these images become heirlooms, tangible memories that can be revisited, shared, and passed down through generations.

Using a Canon film camera from the 1980s, I embrace the beauty of intentional photography and the character that only film can provide. In a world that moves quickly, film encourages us to slow down, be present, and appreciate the fleeting moments that make our lives and love stories uniquely our own. The result is imagery that feels nostalgic, honest, and timeless, capturing not only how a moment looked, but how it felt.
